The eyes that sparkle so beautifully are described as wanting to "suck the soul out of him," which is where that classic Rammstein darkness creeps in. Beauty here isn't a gift, it's predatory.

The real gut punch comes at the end with "doch nur ein Stein," meaning "but just a stone." The whole diamond metaphor gets flipped on its head. A diamond is stunning, yes, but it's also cold, hard, and incapable of love. And the line "what cannot love must hate" makes that explicit.
